On the Furtive-eGT, this technology has been adopted for all lighting and signalling systems. While the tiny light-emitting diodes make for more comfortable driving at night and save energy, they have also allowed the designers at Exagon Motors to give the Furtive’s front end its piercing regard.

~ In racing, efficiency is more important than aesthetics, but a GT must combine both. The line of the boot that emerges on the wings meets the flows from the double-bubble roof and rear posts. ~ The Furtive-eGT is powered by two Siemens Inside e-Car motors, each developing 148 kW motors. Together they produce the equivalent of 402 bhp at between 5,000 and 10,000 rpm. These exceptionally efficient, liquid-cooled motors are the most compact and lightest on the market. They are centrally mounted and mated to an innovative ZTI (Zero Torque Interruption), three-speed gearbox. With a constant 516 Nm of torque between 0 and 5,000 rpm, the Furtive-eGT delivers phenomenal acceleration, going from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.5 seconds. Top speed is limited electronically to 250 kph.

After 3,000 charging cycles, over 80% of battery power remains – enough to take the car one million more kilometres. The third key element, located between the battery and the motors, are the inverters, which manage the propulsion units by controlling the amplitude and frequency of the electrical energy to vary the torque and motor speed. They were specially developed by Siemens to meet the needs of the Furtive-eGT.

Descendant of a racing family, the Furtive-eGT unites impressive efficiency with the comfort of a grand tourer. The braking system owes its performance to the callipers specially developed by Beringer, whose power is multiplied each time the driver takes a foot off the pedal, and by the engine braking produced by the magnetic field of the electric propulsion units, acting as generators.
